I can warm recommend this book to everyone from grade si.A concoction of twelve stories, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is the third book in the original Sherlock Holmes series. It was very logical why all those things happened and I understood almost everything. I liked this book, it was partly very exiting. Stoner’s mother and sister had died in the same way as him, but why? My opinion: If I should compare an English and a German book, should an English book be so much easier! She worrying about he was the one who killed her sister and her mother, but she just don’t know how to prove it. The girl’s stepfather has been in prison for some years but he’s now released. Her mothers died some years ago and were the one who supported the family about two sisters and a new husband. She’s very worried and disconsolate, and she doesn’t know what to do. She tells the detectives that her sister died two years ago in some kind of accident, which probably could be a murder. The detectives got a visit of a young woman with long black hair in a splice.
